Dear info Welcome to another edition of our monthly newsletter. In this newsletter we have:

Conference & AGM 2012

This years Conference and AGM will be held on the 12th & 13th of May 2012 in Wellington at the CQ Hotels.

Saturday the 12th will be dedicated to the Conference which will be themed on Diabetes this year. The day will progress through the journey of a diabetic patient with a range of fabulous speakers and presentations. We will be releasing information of who those speakers are in the coming weeks.

The AGM will be held on Sunday 13th of May. A full agenda will be provided in the coming weeks, but as a teaser - we have a lot of interesting and exciting things to cover. To get you ready for this the executive have prepared reading material covering:

- Membership and Membership levels

- NZOPA Structure responding to the recommendation presented at the last AGM to change the structure of the NZOPA to reflect the changes that are occuring and enable the association to operate more effectively.

- Training Days All reading material has been loaded onto the website. When you log in to the website's members only section they

are under AGM 2012 Reading Material It wouldn't be an NZOPA Conference/AGM weekend without the opportunity to smash a small golf ball around a

course. A game has been arranged for:

Friday 11th May

Mirimar Golf Course

Tee off is at 1pm The game is limited to 8 players and you must book this via the Conference AGM registration form before the 25th

of April.

Traing Day 17th of March

The next and last opportunity to attend an NZOPA training day is the 17th of March. The beauty of this one is that it will be presented online so you don't have to leave your office or kicthen table (depending on where your computer is).

This training day will again be focused on Gait Analysis and will look to extend the learning done at the Training Day last November in Brisbane.

The day will involve: - Pre reading and watching a video of the November 2011 Australian Training day on Gait Analysis. - An online discussion about Gait Analysis - Follow up questions and forum discussion via the NZOPA website for those that register. Registration is open and can be done online here.

IVO Congress 2012

Thursday 29 - Saturday 31 March 2012

_______________________________ _______________________________A reminder that this is the last month to get your case studies in for all those wishing to maintain their accreditation for the 2012 - 2013 year. All case studies must be submitted by the 31st of March 2012. That means they must be either - submitted online by yourself, or emailed to Janette (janette@nzopa.org.nz) by midnight on the 31st of March to be elligible for inclusion.

Any case studies received after the 31st of march can not be attributed to your 2012 - 2013 accreditation. A reminder about the criteria: - submit 6 case studies by the 31st of March 2012 - Pay your 2012 - 2013 fees by the 31st of March 2012

- attend one training day between 1st April 2011 and 31st March 2012

If you have not attended a training day, and can not log on on the 17th then you have the option of submitting 3 additional case studies, but they must also be submitted by the 31st of March. But you must let the admin team know in advance, so please email Janette if you wish to take this option. Janette@nzopa.org.nz

Invoices for 2012 - 2013 year

Invoices for the 2012 - 2013 year will be emailed out to everyone today. If you require a hard copy of the invoice, or if you have not received your invoice by the 7th of March please email Janette. Janette@nzopa.org.nz

DM Orthotics Invitation

DM Orthotics from the UK invite all NZOPA members to attend their seminar at the British Consulate offices on Queen Street Auckland for a free afternoon of information, networking and nibbles. Details are below, but you need to RSVP quickly!
